This series will look at how accessibility guidelines for the built environment impact those with sensory sensitivities and neurodiversity. Many national and state codes (ex: Americans with Disabilities Act) guide how projects are designed and built, and how the current landscape looks and is used. Through writing, plan reviews and photography, various posts will look at how these standards might work well, or poorly, for those who have specific sensory sensitivities and diverse cognition. The first release in this series will be in October 2024.
