BENJAMIN JENSEN, MLA, ASLA

Co-Founder | Landscape Designer

Benjamin’s work on the topic of neurodiversity in landscape and urban design began upon learning more about his own sensory sensitivities while a masters of landscape architecture student at Cornell University. Centered on the autistic experience, the research explored the wide variety of sensory experiences found within the autism spectrum, the needs associated with each sense as well as extra-sensory needs, and developed a methodology for an iterative process of sensory analysis of a site.  Benjamin won the ASLA Honors Award in Research for his thesis and continues to expand on his expertise.
